About Us

A Gateway To Explore & Experience Authentic Meghalaya

We initiated our work of Tourism in 2015 so that we can give Travelers the Authentic Experience of Exploring Meghalaya nestled in to Remote & Rural areas of East Khasi hills of Meghalaya.

To explore Forests here, beautiful bamboo & Living Root Bridges, Crystal Clear Water Streams & Amazing Water falls. Typical clean remote & rural Khasi Villages.

The work initiated by Mr. Hawson Khongsit in 2015 with intention to develop beautiful rural areas of Meghalaya with context of Tourism & to develop Eco Village Tourism in surrounding villages of Hillside Highway Cottages.

At the beginning Mr. Hawson Khongsit started with two bamboo huts,

Later in 2016 Mr. Sachin Chaudhari.(A tourism expert & also an Experienced Airbnb Host) joined the work and contributed to develop this tourism work further.

In 2018 the team came up with two more wooden Cottages as more options of stay.

Also we must mention the most important team member

Mr. Welbis Khongkhlad, who is highly energetic & very friendly care taker of the cottages, and a wonderful, dedicated cook.

Guwahati - Shilong - Cherapunji -

Tyrna(Double Decker Root Bridge) - Mawlynnong - Travel back to Shilong via Jowai
